We operate a large facility with rack and barrel lines that incorporate the very latest processing technologies to guarantee consistent quality finishes. In addition to exceptional black oxide finishes, we offer phosphate coatings as well as stainless steel passivation to enhance the surface qualities and wear protection of your valuable products.

Our black oxide processing chemistries penetrate deeply into the surface of the metal being treated to create a resilient and protective surface that will not chip, crack, peel, flake, or rub off. We apply it to steel, stainless steel, zinc die castings, copper, brass and other substrates to improve the appearance and add corrosion protection. Since the coating is integral to the surface, there is no dimensional change to the part, making it an excellent choice for components with critical tolerances.

Black oxide also offers several other important advantages. It is an inexpensive process for adding a decorative, lustrous black finish with strong visual appeal. Along with improving lubricity, it has little impact on conductivity, making it a fitting treatment for electrical parts. Black oxide also improves adhesion of paint and other coatings to promote their longevity.

Another valuable method for improving surfaces is phosphate conversion. Our zinc phosphate coatings offer superior corrosion resistance and provide a uniform, excellent quality surface for subsequent painting. Our manganese phosphate coatings also offer unbeatable corrosion protection, improved lubricity, as well as anti-galling and enhanced wear properties. For parts made of stainless steel, our passivating process completely removes all particulate from the surface and forms a uniform, smooth, protective layer impervious to corrosion.

We have the capacity to manage jobs of any size and all of our processes are compliant with a range of industrial and Mil-Spec standards. Running two production shifts per day allows us to provide expedited turnaround, and our shipping and receiving departments are open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM for your convenience.
